Updates for 2023
Fees
Tournament card fees are increasing to $20 per player for 2023. The reasoning for this is that we not had an increase in fees for over 10 years. It costs more to operate the association, purchase awards, and fund the local courses that host our tournaments. Finally, we have added a scholarship for players who are exiting the program.
Scholarship
We have created two $250 scholarships to be awarded to players who have participated in the Northwest Kansas Junior Golf Association tournaments, and are competing in their final season at 17 years of age. More information on this can be found by clicking the scholarship link at the top of this page.
Awards
Medals are awarded to the top 3 golfers in each division. Players who place in the top 3 in their division (including ties) are eligible to play in the championship tournament. Players may play in an upper division, and may earn medals, but are only eligible to play in their division at the championship tournament. At the championship tournament, plaques will be awarded to the top two golfers in each division.
Golfers must register for the championship tournament prior to the deadline to be placed in the pairings.
